DESIGN INSPIRATION 11 years of refinement… Grosso tweaked, updated, and improved his special build of the Sk8-Mid piece by piece starting in 2009. Much of the design and development work done to improve Grosso’s “Pro spec” shoe informed Vans’ innovations on duracap, footbeds, and the OTW outsole support shank. These were built to maximize support and cushioning without compromising boardfeel and control.
KEY FEATURES
• Duracap across vamp and ollie area for street and vert durability
• UltraCush 3D 3-part footbed for support and shock dispersion.
• Sick Stick rubber OTW outsole w/ internal rear foot shank
• Grosso’s Pro-Spec upper materials.
